The Diamond Area CDC is the recognized umbrella body coordinating 50 Community Development Associations (CDAs) within the Obafemi Owode Local Government Area (LGA), Ogun State.

 

We provide leadership, foster collaboration, and drive grassroots initiatives that enhance social, economic, and infrastructural development across our communities.

 

Through our specialized wings,including the Youth Wing,the CDC ensures inclusive participation, representation, and engagement of all groups in community development.Operating under the supervision of Obafemi Owode LGA, the CDC aligns with government policies while actively contributing to the attainment of community development goals.

 

ABOUT THE YOUTH WING

The Youth Wing of Diamond Area CDC is the vibrant arm of the committee, dedicated to mobilizing, organizing, and empowering young people across the 50 CDAs under its jurisdiction.

 

It serves as a platform for:

 

1.Leadership development and civic engagement.

 

2.Capacity building through skills acquisition and vocational training.

 

3.Entrepreneurship support to promote self-reliance and economic growth.

 

4.Community service that fosters unity and social responsibility.
